This mostly includes scratching/wear on the back of the hardback book and sometimes the front/spine of the hardback. It basically looks like they slid them across several surfaces without a care in the world (I have lost sleep over this lol). This is under the dust jacket. In some cases it is only visible in certain light and at certain angles. The picture included is just a representation of what I mean taken in natural light.
